11-17-15-panel update 1

Advocates for North Korean Human Rights (ANKHR), Wellesley Asian Alliance (WAA), and American Studies Department present “Women, Militarization, and Peace building,” a panel focusing on bringing women to the forefront of discussions surrounding Korean peninsular division, militarization, and peacemaking.

The panel, moderated by Professor Terry Park, will include three distinguished guests who are experts in their field: Christine Ahn of WomenCrossDMZ, Chahee Stanfield of Divided Families USA, and Jieun Baek of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.

Following the panel, Dohee Lee, a renowned performance artist and a Jeju Island native, will perform an original piece called MAGO in Tishman Commons.

Korean food will be served for dinner at 5:15pm. We hope to see you there!
