This Thursday (11/08) at 5:30 P.M, James Person, a Woodrow Wilson Center Expert, will be talking about the state of North Korea after Kim Jong Il’s reign. Now that it’s been over half a year under Kim Jong-un’s dictatorship, the question on all our minds is what this means for the future of North Korea. Join us Thursday, 5:30 P.M. at the Pendleton Atrium to uncover a little more of North Korea’s mysterious sovereignty and eat some Korean food.
James F. Person is the Senior Program Associate for the History and Public Policy Program and coordinator of the North Korea International Documentation Project. He is currently completing a PhD in Korean history at the George Washington University, working on a dissertation on North Korea’s relations with the Soviet Union and China from 1956-1962. –Wilson Center, http://www.wilsoncenter.org/staff/james-person
